And so it begins...with a disclaimer

So, after about a decade of intense computer use I have finally decided to join the blogosphere. For years I have resisted the trend, because I have no intent in telling the world, least of all the internet world, what color underwear I'm wearing, what is the password to my secret bank account with 20 million dollar in it, etc.

You can therefore expect none of these here. I will not tell you how annoying my roommate is, nor will I talk about my new crush. This is a place where I write about the world, and what sucks about it. I am, by all measures, a radical. My opinions are at the very least disturbing, so what I write here might (read: will) insult a lot of people with less opened minds. But oh well.

I will also write about lighter things. Gaming, anime, manga and computers are my passion, so expect to see me prance and dance around excitedly (literarily) about some moe charaters or the newest, most powerful Asus laptop that can calculate the Meaning of Life, the Universe and Everything to 16,000 decimal places.

This is a disclaimer, so that when I become hyperactive or act like Kim Jong Il, I don't have the nearest mental asylum or the FBI knocking on my door.

One last thing. For those not as geeky as I am, the URL of this blog may seem slightly weird, so let me explain. Chiu-tan is the webname of a character in Mahou Sensei Negima, Hasegawa Chisame. She appears calm and cynical in front of other characters but on the web she is a secret cosplay net idol. So I decided to make this reference in my URL. Akamatsu-san, you better be grateful.
